Who Are We?

Paragoptics LLC is a manufacturer of automotive ambient lighting products tailored for FCA/Stellantis vehicles. We are the first and only company in the automotive aftermarket to offer OEM quality ambient lighting systems for FCA/Stellantis vehicles. We spend an extensive amount of time researching and developing our ideas into the highest quality products that meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Where it all started

I am Ryan Brown, I started Paragoptics LLC in 2018. I have always enjoyed driving at night ever since the day I got my driver’s license. Naturally, I was drawn to interior lighting products to enhance the night-driving experience. Like several other car enthusiasts in their teenage years, I began working with simple LED strips for footwell lighting. With the knowledge I have gained over the years along with the aid of modern LED technology, I was able to refine my hobby and learn how to fabricate a cozy atmosphere for driving at night. Every cavity in the interior of my vehicle was illuminated with LEDs. One might consider this excessive, though I call it functional. I was satisfied with the results, that is until the “modern” LEDs burned out a year later. Long-term reliability was one of the main issues that I ran into when working with these LED products. Not to mention the installation instructions that were included with these LED products were always extremely vague and difficult to follow.

Rewind to August 2016. I was an automotive technician working at Dallas Speed Shop installing aftermarket performance parts and accessories on FCA vehicles. I was working on a brand-new 4th generation Ram 1500 Limited when I noticed a subtle ice blue ambient lighting illuminating from the door panels. It was simple and aesthetic. At the time I owned a 4th generation Ram 1500 truck that did not come with factory ambient lighting. I was aware that adding the same lights to my vehicle would not be a simple task, but that did not stop me from trying. I immediately got to work researching how to fabricate an ambient lighting kit to work for my truck. After extensive researching, sourcing parts, and retrofitting I was able to pull it off. It was exciting to know that I was one of the very few people to retrofit factory ambient lighting equipment from a higher trim 4th gen Ram to my own vehicle. This accomplishment sparked the idea for Paragoptics. And here we are today with a mission to produce unique, high quality products that add a custom look while retaining OEM functionality.

It has been an exciting journey. Technology is constantly advancing. Opening doors to new ideas and new opportunities for Paragoptics. As we grow as a company our strict quality standards for our products will always remain. We pay close attention to detail, producing products of only the highest quality. Products that maintain a clean factory appearance while creating a unique driving experience. Products that you can enjoy for years to come. This is what makes us unique, and this is what makes us the paragon of custom ambient lighting.
